1Ghz: When?

The register has some guesses about who is going to release the first 1GHz chip in the industry? Is it AMD? Or Compaq's Alpha, or even Intel? And why doesn't the register even mention IBM or Motorola?

More DoS?

The whole net has found another bug that may crash a Mac OS 9 Mac when a certain UDP packet is sent to a certain port etc. Obviously Mac OS 9.0.1 will already fix that. Personally I don't think it is good to write such things in the net. It only attracts even more hackers. I founf this at Mac News Network

No, MOSR is not down, as I told you on 30th. It is just awfully slow to me suddenly. THey even have news that Pismo will accept CPU upgrade cards, making it possible to upgrade them later with faster G3s or even G4s.
