Mac ATA66 cards

xlr8yourmac.com has news on the status of the ATA/66 upgrade cards from ProDirect. The card enables you to connect ATA66 drives and run them at full speed (instead of 33MBsec or even only 6MB/sec). The card should be shipping now, according to xlr8yourmac.

Mac3D has a link to an article that claims that Apple is working on new USB keyboards as we speak. I can only hope this is true, I always found the condensed layout of the USB Keyboard that was introduced with the first iMacs a bit dissappointing.

PowerPCs still short?

AppleInsider has a heard of a rumor that says the delay of the Mystic G4 machines is not only due to the delay of Mac OS 9.0.1, but also because lazy Motorola still hasn't found a way to produce enough 500MHz G4 chips. How about getting that revision 2.8 out of the workshop and start producing it. I don't give a damn about cellular phones. :)
