More PDA rumors
the register suggests that the new Palm/Apple Handheld might be closely tied to Mac OS X. Features such as drag&drop file exchange and others are rumored.
the register The DoJ obviously wants MS to break the company up in several little part-companies. The three separate companies will be supporting and developing the OSes (Win 2000), Applications and Web software. There seems to be some major trouble with that chip. The second article deals with Mac OS X, and talks about the question which Macs will be supported.
Minuet is guilty
AppleInsider has also an article that claims Mac OS 9.0.1 guilty for the delay of all the new hardware. Obviously there where some serious issues with the ROM files, causing the new models to crash, rendering them unpresentable at the expo. While I believe that Minuet may have caused the delay of the Mystcis and the 17" iMacs, I also do believe that the delay of Pismo was not only caused by this, as noted above.
