xlr8yourmac notes that Metabox is now offering 2MB level 2 cache version of their G4 CPU upgrades, some programs seem to benefit quite a bit from the additional cache, although the rpice tag does not...
The drive compatibility database now already has far more than 200 entries, surely worth a look if you plan to upgrade with a drive you're not too familiar with.
