New super computer
Tom's Hardware has gotten their site fixed again (although still slow as a snail) and notes that a Finnish research group has constructed a new supercomputer incorporating 512 CPUs doing a trillion operations per second (trillioflop?:). The new supercomputer is 150 times faster than Deep Blue and paves the way for new supercomputers from IBM, these will do a quadrillion operations per second. The one finished so far can be yours for a measly 4.5 million dollars.
