Radeon revealed
Shugashack offers a lot of links for the first reviews of the ATI Radeon card. First benchmarks seem to compete well with even a GeForce 2, even beating it at 1280x1024 and 1600x1200 (who runs those resolutions though?). Looks like we'll finally have some cool graphics chip for our Mac.

id to announce something?
Shugashack also has a .plan update from Graeme Devine, stating that they are going to unveil a nice surprise for everyone at MWNY. Yes you heard right, they are going to announce something at a Mac event! I guess it might be the announcement that they are moving development from Win NT to Mac OS X, but Shugashack also think the Q3 Mission pack might be what they are talking about. We'll see.

The Cube, rumor of the year
the register still keeps guessing what that mystical "Cube" might be. A replacement for the iMac? A miniserver? A set-top-box NC ala Oracle? Who knows? On Wednesday we all will.
