Slashdot notes that Apple is taking back old PowerBooks 5300 and 190. These models often had trouble, like expolding batteries etc and Apple wants to pull them off the market, so they don't have to support them anymore. You'll get a new PowerBook of the current product line for 1800$, about 700$ cheaper than normal, according to the PowerBook Zone.
