Oh the Brits
the register notes that a group of British Mac users have been sending e-mails to news sites, literally announcing that they plan to interrupt Steve Job's keynote at Apple Expo Paris. UK Mac users have been unhappy with the cancellation of MacWorld UK and the British English version of Mac OS for quite a while. To bad they were not Irish, they'd surely not given out before they did it:)

New Gaming site
GlobalMacGames.com is, as far as I understand it, some kind of GameSpy for the Mac, or GameRanger over the Internet, supporting 15 games at the moment. According to MacNN, the site was actually relaunched, however I have no idea when it was up the first time.

Mac OS 9.1
AppleInsider notes that Apple's Mac OS 9.1 update has turned beta and should be going public soon. Not as soon as Apple Expo Paris however.
