xlr8yourmac has a first peek on proMAX dual outpur AGP graphics card (that supposedly also works in Cubes) and links to a rumor, stating that Apple will be the first compony to use Visio's 800x600 display goggles. Might be cool for PowerBooks indeed.

P4 available

Well, at least kind of, accoring to Shugashack. Some retailers obviously already got some (admittably fast (1.5GHz max)) P4 chips for sale. The only bad things about this are that first of all the prices are ridiculously high (the top model chip costs more than a whole iMac DV), and secondly, there are no motherboards available to run the chip on. If you buy now, you really deserve to be a PC user.

MOSR has the news you like to hear. Shaping up some expectations for MWSF next January, they talk about a new portable Mac, UMA-2 motherboards on all machines and faster G4 processors as well. Let's just hope they're right this time.
