Hello Mr. president?

...well, almost anyway. They still didn't manage to count all the votes without leaving any doubts. So they are now recounting the votes from Florida and 2 other states, where the results were also very close. Ironically, in a logical democratic system, Al Gore was the one to win, since in absolute votes, he has been leading for quite some time now. But of course the American have a very refined system of election, that actually counts the so called "electoral votes". The way it looks now is that although Gore has more votes, Bush has more electoral votes and is this probably going to win the tournament...oops, I mean the election.

The readers speak

MacWEEK. has their readers speak about Apple and what they should do. (Again) Some ideas are basically what everybody wants, while others are a bit more exotic. I'm not saying what the third kind are...

Aha!

IMG notes that Blizzard noticed that their bad performance on Battle.net as well as problems getting on to their websites are actually due to HACKER ATTACKS. These guys are indeed quick to notice that, since this has been happening for several months now. Although I'm sorry to hear that there are actually people doing such a thing, and although I'm relieved to hear that they are finally aware they have a problem, it's pretty damn sad they didn't notice it earlier. They are now sending the FBI and other agencies after the hacker/s. I'm pretty sure they'll find them in asia. (no offense towards Asians, but that's where most trouble came from during the last 12 months).
