Feedback
xlr8yourmac
has quite a lot of feedback on the unofficial Voodoo Dirvers 1.1.3 and on MacQuake 3 1.27 (which crashes on my comp at startup, which is not funny at all).

PB rumors
the register
dug up some new rumors about the PowerBook G4 (Mercury). It is said to use a G4 CPU (MPC 7410, I guess) and might be equipped with a Mac version of the "GeFroce2Go" graphics chipset from nVidia.
Of course nothing of this is confirmed, and the rumor started at Go2Mac, so take it with a lot of salt.

More Apple suggestions
MacWEEK
has some more suggestions for Apple. Basically they say "...that Apple must do three things: use faster processors, introduce new product lines and develop products more quickly. "
I sure agree there:)

3dfx interview
FiringSquad
has yet another gloomy interview with a guy from 3dfx. You can read it yourself (I recomment that), or just take my ultra brief wrap-up: 3dfx is as dead as a stone.

Various Apple rumors
MOSR
has news on G4 supply problems (again!), some tips to speed up startup times and notes that Apple is working on new, more aggressive ads.

Serial ATA getting serious
CNET
notes that the development group behind Serial ATA, the successor to ATA, has released draft 1.0 of their standard. The new technology promises transfer rates of 150MB/sec in the beginning, and is, like the name says, serial, and no longer parallel. That sure promises for some awfully fast drives in the future.
