A funny story

At least for us Mac users. Michael Breeden over at www.xlr8yourmac.com has a funny story telling about his friends 1Ghz Kool Athlon and how they tried to get it working with a nVidia GeForce graphics card. If Michael hadn't had to post on his page, they'd still be trying:)

Intel and SDRAM

The register has an article talking about Intel and how it finally adopts SDRAM-standard RAM. According to the register, Intel will meet some important companies next year to discuss a successful promotion of PC-133 and DDR-SDRAM. RDRAM seems to fall back in interest worldwide.

Apple reviews business year 1999

The Macintosh News Network has the summary of Apple's business performance in 1999. Unfortunately Apple will probably have to spend up to 10$ Million for Y2K issues, although Macs are all compliant. PCs lurk everywhere:) See also at MacWEEK
