Intel still having trouble

the register notes that Intel still has bugs in their newest chipsets (850) that are essential for the success fo the Pentium 4 chip. Since the introduction of the first RDRAM motherboards, Intel has repeatedly had delays and bugs that caused quite a lot of hassle. Go talk about RDRAM being really good.

Nintendo buying who, or not?

the register notes that rumors indicate that Nintendo may want to buy rival Sega for 2 billion dollars. Of course both Nintendo and Sega denied that vigorously, but so did 3dfx a while ago.

We're all doomed

AppleInsider notes that Motorola may have screwed up the release of the V'Ger G4 again. Not that the chip isn't ready, but again they don't seem to have enough chips ready to satisfy Apple. Too bad as Apple is having some cool plans for 2001-02. How does a Quad 1GHz G4 sound to you?
