xlr8yourmac had various stuff over the weekend, about exchanging powersupplies in PowerComputing machines, about hassles with CPU upgrades, some new on the Radeon PCI and a lot of other stuff.

Xbox launched, kindof

Shugashack has plenty of links and facts on the Xbox, that was introduced to the public at the CES (Consumer Electronics Show) this weekend, with Bill Gates talking some trash etc. I didn't follow things a lot, after I found Microsofts webcast of the show to be so terribly bad, that I couldn't understand sound, nor see any pictures. At least there Apple is still miles ahead. I guess we'll hear more about this console, as it is already being hyped as "revolutionary" etc. In the end it's just a console anyway.
the register writes about down what I think about it.

More Apple rumors and analysis

the regiser has some more of the analyses that keep popping up whenever Apple is either: about to open an Expo, or is about to die. Both seems to be the case to some people at the moment, thus things keep surfacing out of the void. Check it out.

Apple stuff

MacWEEK has some more "ideas" about what Apple might unveil tomorrow and also features that latest rumor, that Apple is going to focus on "killer-apps" again (VisiCalc for the AppleII, Halo for the XBox, Photoshop for the Mac (to some degree) already prove(d) it works).

New keyboard coming?

MacObserver, famous for disliking rumor sites, has decided to post an unconfirmed information, that Apple may have revised their Pro Keyboard to include a power switch again. This of course can only be seen as a positive thing.

MGL??

Macledge has nothing up, aside from a teaser citing Durandals famous "Find yourself....starting back". I wonder what they're going to surprise us with.

LinuxPPC to become obsolete?

Slashdot links to an article that discusses whether Mac OS X will make LinuxPPC obsolete to most users or not. Good thought there, that might in fact be the case in a year or so.
