VPC on OS X coming

xlr8yourmac has gotten word from a reader that Connectix plans to ship Virtual PC 4.0 for OS X as soon as possible after the official release of the operating system. Unfortunately we'll have to pay for the update, but I'm sure it's going to further improve performance.

RAMBUS sucks, now with proof

electronicnews.com has gotten some proof that Rambus has been trying to interfere with the JEDEC members (an association for most RAM standards) and try to claim patents for these standards. What is probably the most shocking thing about all this, is that Rambus is probably the first company who's idea is to hurt other companies, not producing an actual product. (at least that is the impression I get).

MWT to be webcast

MacObserver notes that Apple confirmed that there will be a webcast from MacWorld Tokyo. According to some rumors (RUMORS!!!) id Software and Apple might demo Doom3 on a Mac with an NV20 (GeForce3) chip for the first time. GeForce 3 is possible, Doom3 is very unlikely I'd say, however, it would be very cool.
