Updates confirmed
the register reports that Apple has confirmed several updates for current applications to work with Mac OS X natively and some added support for the OS itself as well. DVD playback will be added, as well as support for iTunes and the GeForce 3 cards.

the register notes that AMD has been showing off some majorly fast chips at German Expo Cebit, which started today and will last till the 28. Keep yourself posted on that expo a bit, it's one of the biggest in the world every year.

OSX visions
TechWeb reports that Steve Job sees some potential for Mac OS X in the enterprise market. Especially Unix and Java developers were looking at the new OS, says Jobs.
Slashdot has a link to an article where Linux users are raving about how Linux has failed to deliver Unix (sort of) to the masses, before Apple did it with OS X.
