RAM dilemma gets clarified
the register has some final results on the PC-100 SDRAM incompatibility issue after Apple's firmware update. The problem is in fact somekind of software related, ie can be changed without soldering or completely replacing a DIMM module. Check it out.
More evidence on Apple retail store
the register has some more evidence that Apple is indeed leasing rooms in Chicago for what seems to be a future retail store. I wonder when they're going to officially announce it, as everybody knows it by now.

MacCentral might have some relieving facts for you then. The design director for the project is actually using a Mac. Amazing, I thought only the Mac division was using Macs at Microsoft. In fact maybe everyone is using one, after all they have to work, right:)
