Radeon news etc
xlr8yourmac
notes that a reader discovered some FSAA code in ATI's current Radeon drivers that probably only waits to be unleashed (or is so buggy they left it away). There are also notes on hacked G4 AGP systems not booting under OS X and that Blizzard has released Diablo 2 1.06 patch (which hopefully fixes my problems).

Not another standards war
Slashdot
has news on a possible upcoming standards war between AMD and Intel on the topic of the successor standard to PCI (peripheral component interconnect). Both new busses over a much higher transfer rate, but of course, they're not compatible. I think card manufacturers will decide this one, they wouldn't want to make every damn modem card for two different interfaces.
