CPU review article done
I've posted a more or less finalized version of my extensive ZIF CPU upgrade card review today. I'm not sure whether all the links work now etc, but I've checked it several times and I think it's ready for prime time.
CPU modules tested are: XLR8 MAChSpeed G4z 500 MPe, Met@box Joecard G4 450/466, Sonnet Encore G3 500, Sonnet Encore G4 500, some overclocks and the Beige and Blue&White base machines. Read on to see how they performed...

Some thoughts on the time after 3dfx
the register has some reader thoughts on how the future without 3Dfx will look. Not so good, if I see those posts over there. People are concerned about a lack of competition and thus a rise of prices. (nVidia cards have always been rather costly).

Comments on OS X
MacCentral has another report on a critical article on Mac OS X. Fortune does not recommend users to adopt it too early, it's state being "half-baked" and "flaky". What did they expect?

PC design
Sharkyextreme has posted an article talking about PC case design, why it's so boring, etc. Interesting for a Mac user to see what they think of their machines, maybe?
