New stuff
xlr8yourmac.com
has some pictures of a strange digital device, that has been found entitled "Apple iBook". Very interesting. Also someone found out how to overclock the GeForce 2MX cards for Mac, and XLR8 has released a new version of their cache control utility.

P4 1700MHz released
Shacknews
reports that the Intel Pentium 4 processor running at 1.7GHz has been released today, but it still doesn't beat the Athlons.
Interesting, now the 1.2GHz Athlon and 1.7GHz Pentium seem to be equally fast, that's a whopping 500MHz difference. I wonder whether some people will start to understand that "MHz isn't everything" thing now.

PB Titanium is the bomb
the register
notes that a bomb scare in a Californian airport shut down all operations for 6 hours, until the "bomb" was found to be a PowerBook G4 Titanium, which had not been recognized by the staff of the x-ray machine and was then considered a bomb, after finding some suspect "residues" of possibly dangerous chemicals. Umm, yeah.

Radeon 2 news
MG
has some news on the Radeon 2 card, looks like it's going to be great. I think the price is going to be a major deciding factor when it comes to choosing between ATI and nVidia on the Mac, for quite a while to come.
