PB Titanium is the bomb NOT

the register notes that new evidence suggests that not residue of the case was causing the alarm in the airport control, but residue of the bag, in which it was transported. Also the owner was aparently drunk, which might also have helped the story a bit. Owners of Titanium PowerBook G4s have nothing to fear then, except alcohol maybe.

GameCube de facto dead

the register notes that Nintendo plans to only release and ship the upcoming Gecko based GameCube console (Gecko is a derivate chip of the G4), if it gets very positive feedback at E3. As this is most certainly not going to be the case, the console is de facto dead. You see, being restrictive on hardware AND software can often enough cause you serious problems.
