Pictures of the dead

Shacknews has some pictures and fact on the 3dfx Rampage card (Voodoo 6), which aparently taped out (that means the design was finished) a few days before the company bought out to nVidia. Now the card is most certainly never going to appear anywhere else than in the labs of nVidia. At least as long as nVidia doesn't think the card is better than their own tech, which is most certainly never going to be the case. It would have been a nice card, I'm sure.

Linux for PS2

the register proves that whatever is free, will also find acceptance: Sony has just release Linux for its PlayStation 2 console. Not quite sure what for actually.

iTools 6.0

MacCentral notes that iTools 6.0 is going to take advantage of Mac OS X features. As Mac OS X has some integrated internet tools, this isn't very surprising, but very nice still.

Mac vs PC discussion

ZDnet didn't get what all other sites got in the mean time: the Mac vs PC discussion is childish and pointless. What they did get though, is that these stories still attract both PC and Mac loyalists, and what could be better for a site like ZDnet if not more hits?. Well, I just posted this so you can participate in the poll and hopefully vote for the Mac. After all, we wouldn't want the Mac to lose, only because we're smarter than the PC users right? ;P
