New FiringSquad

FiringSquad doesn't have a lot of interesting stuff today (apart from the E3 coverage), but it is quite obvious that they have had a major design overhaul. The page is now definitely faster and easier to navigate. Strangely enough that gives it a feel much closer to G-News than before:))))

Newer and newer

MacNN has also just overhauled their site, but unlike FS, their new design is not really any better than the old one, I'd even say it's worse.
But we're talking news here, not criticism, so I'd like to point out that they report that the Omni group is going to show of some of the games they are working on at the moment. This will happen at upcoming WWDC.

Rumors

MOSR has some mixed rumors on the future of multiprocessing on the Mac. Aparently the 7450 chip is not fully MERSI compliant and therefore not suited for MP configurations above 2 chips.
The other rumor is that Apple might get a second chance to buy Palm, which might be a good idea.
